She completed her undergraduate studies with a B.A. in Classical Archeology and minors in Chemistry, Biology and Psychology at the prestigious Dartmouth College. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the renowned Medical College of Ohio where she was designated Class Leader. After finishing her training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Wasserbauer discovered she had a natural aptitude and eye for aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Wasserbauer believes in a holistic approach to treating her patient’s. “I want to understand their cosmetic goals and create very customized treatment plans that will accomplish their objectives and fit their lifestyle. There is no reason to treat patients with a cookie cutter, one size fits all approach.”

Dr. Suzanne Gokel
Dr. Gokel’s philosophy is to partner with her patients to take an active role towards a healthy, happy lifestyle. She encourages patients to “Take care of yourself and feel good and then your energy can be focused on your home, family and work!”
Outside of Laser Center of Walnut Creek, Dr. Gokel also practices primary care at Stanford University Health Care Center where she is on faculty. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her family and three kids.

Having a background in cosmetic surgery, intensive care, labor and delivery, and management, has served to provide a strong foundation.
